Aged care that works around you

Step By Step Physio provides aged care physiotherapy and allied health to older adults across Auburn, Lakemba and the surrounding Western Sydney suburbs.

Getting to a clinic is not realistic for everyone, so we come to you. Home visits are a core part of what we do, and they let us work on the things that actually matter at home: the step at the front door, getting out of a favourite chair, managing the walk to the shops.

Where coming in suits you better, both clinics are set up for it and your sessions run the same way.

Home visits

We come to you

A home visit is not a clinic appointment delivered somewhere else. It is a chance to work on the things that are actually difficult, in the place they happen.

No travel, no waiting room

Nothing to arrange and no getting in and out of a car, when that is often the hardest part of the day.

We see the real obstacles

The step at the front door, the chair that is hard to get out of, the bathroom that feels risky. Things a clinic room cannot show us.

A program that fits your home

Exercises using your own furniture, doorways and hallway, so there is nothing to set up and nothing to remember.

Family and carers included

If you want them there, we show them how to help safely rather than leaving them guessing.

We visit homes across Berala, Granville, Lidcombe, Regents Park, Punchbowl, Wiley Park and the suburbs around our Auburn and Lakembaclinics. Not sure if you are in range? Call and ask.

We talk through what you need

Where you are up to, what has become difficult, and whether a home visit or a clinic appointment suits you better.

3

First assessment

We look at how you are moving, what your home is like if we are visiting, and agree a plan with you.

4

Ongoing sessions and review

We adjust as you progress, and keep family or carers in the loop when you want us to.
